Trinity Directory Update

New photo directory coming soon!

We are delighted to share that we are preparing a new photo directory for our church family!

As we prepare this exciting project, we need your help to make sure everyone’s information is up to date and that we have new photos of each person and family. Here is how you can help:

Update Your Directory Information

We have prepared individual sheets for each person in your household that we have listed in our church database. These sheets contain the current contact and demographic information we have on file. You can pick up your directory packet at church on Sunday, March 17, 2024. If you don’t pick up your packet, and we have a mailing address for you, it will be mailed on Monday, March 18, 2024.

Please review each sheet, correct any outdated or missing information, and return it to Trinity.

If you don’t receive a packet, or would prefer to update your information online, tap on the button below to go to our online update form. This will allow you to securely submit your information to our team from your computer, phone, or tablet.

Update Your Individual and Family Photos

Starting Sunday, March 17, 2024, and continuing at least through Easter Sunday, we will have a photographer available both before and after services to take individual and family photos for the new directory. If you can’t attend one of these days, you are invited to email a photo to our church office for the directory. See our FAQ section below for more details on how to email a photo if needed.

Thank you in advance for your assistance! Please return your directory update sheets no later than Thursday, April 4, 2024. This is also the timeframe for emailing photos. This will give our team sufficient time to update your information in the database prior to printing the new directory.

Directory Update FAQs

  1. Why am I receiving this update request?

    1. We are contacting every person who has an active profile in our church database. This includes members, guests, and other individuals who have interacted with Trinity.

  2. I am no longer affiliated with Trinity, or I no longer wish to be affiliated. What do I do?

    1. We only wish to include those in our communications who wish to be affiliated with Trinity. If that is no longer the case for you, please EITHER return this sheet using the included envelope noting that you no longer wish to be affiliated OR email our office and let us know you no longer wish to be affiliated. Our office email is: office@trinityspringfieldpcusa.org Please be sure to include your name and contact information in any correspondence so we can update the correct profile.

  3. Why do you want to know _____ about me?

    1. Legal First Name: If you have a legal first name that is different from the name you routinely go by, list it here. We only use this on financial giving statements; the IRS requires the use of Legal First Names on these tax documents.

    2. Birthday & Gender Identity: Each year, Trinity submits statistical reports to the national church. These reports contain demographic information about our congregation, specifically age and gender identity breakdowns. This information is very helpful as we work to serve the needs of all generations and gender identities.

    3. Preferred Pronouns: Trinity is continuing our work to become a more welcoming and inclusive community. One way we are seeking to do this is by recognizing that different individuals have different preferences for the pronouns they use.

  4. Do I really need to share the year I was born?

    1. Yes. By including your birth year, we can run our required annual reports showing generational breakdowns. Your personal birth year or age are not available to anyone outside of our administrative team and they are not shared.

  5. What’s up with the dates for “Ordained Elder / Deacon / Clergy”?

    1. As part of our database update, we are changing the way we track individuals who have been ordained as an Elder, Deacon, or Clergy member. As of this update, anyone who our records show as ordained is now listed as having an ordination start date of January 1, 2024. If you ARE ordained, please list your approximate date of ordination. If you ARE NOT ordained, this field should be blank.

  6. I want to email you a photo. What do I do?

    1. Please email all photos to the office (office@trinityspringfieldpcusa.org) with the subject: “Directory Update Photo”. Please clearly identify who is in each photo. We need both individual photos and family group photos. Individual photos will be square and family group photos a horizontal rectangle. Please make sure all photos are recent (within the last 2-3 years), have a plain background, and only include those to be shown in the directory. Please submit photos with the highest resolution possible. This allows for clearer prints in the directory. In general, a larger file has a higher resolution. Please only submit photos in .jpg or .png file formats.
